Master Membership

This membership is for diehard Thunderstorm collectors. Given the extremely low print runs planned in 2012, joining the Thunderstorm family has never been better. In addition to getting great books designed specifically for the collector, you will also be eligible for some bonuses and perks not available to the general public.

Requirements:

The master member is signing up to buy each book in the following four lines: Black Voltage, White Lightning, Supercell, and Maelstrom.

Perks:

1.  You will receive a matching low number for all your lines.
2. Your books will automatically be reserved for you, no matter how fast they sell out.
3. You will receive free US media mail shipping.
4. International customers have several shipping options to save money.
5. You will receive access to the members page on the website, which includes members only access to lay-a-way, slipcases (and other optional items), and sneak peeks at upcoming releases.
6. You will have the first choice to “opt in” to the Elemental hardcover line (with your matching number if possible).
7. You have the option to “opt out” of any three hardcovers in 2012 without losing your master membership status.
8. You will get monthly emails discussing the status of Thunderstorm.
9. You will receive a free hardcover chapbook approximately every 12 months (certain conditions apply).
10. Joining is nearly free and you can cancel at any time.

2012 Hard Rain Membership

Thunderstorm Books is proud to present the newest line of books to our stable.  These editions are created specifically with a cost friendly retail price in mind.  Yes, you will still get books written by both the veteran talent and promising up-and-comers in the genre.  Yes, you will still get cover art by some of the top artists in the field.  A good sampling of the type (both author and artist) of books we produce can be found on our gallery page on thunderstormbooks.com.   

This line has three primary purposes.  First, Hard Rain offers a great entry point for the next generation of book collectors. These will be signed limited hardcover editions.  Secondly, Hard Rain offers current genre lovers who have been negatively affected by the struggling economy the opportunity to continue in (or to re-enter) the small press book market.  These editions will be priced at $35.  Third, and perhaps most importantly, Hard Rain gives both the authors and Thunderstorm Books the chance to expand our readership.  These editions are going to be mostly comprised of new, original novels.

In 2012, we will be publishing 8 novels that will fall into this line.  By joining the membership you will be getting a discount on an already very affordable edition.  Also, as an additional bonus, if you buy all eight books through a membership you will get a free softcover chapbook with new stories by four authors (details forthcoming...but you don’t want to miss this!)

Two ways to join the membership:

1. Paypal $5 membership fee.  Receive $5 off  each book retailed at $35.  You will be billed $30 per book (+ $5 shipping and handling) as each edition comes out.  Total savings of $35 over buying them individually (plus a free softcover chapbook).



2. Paypal $260 for the entire year's worth of books.  Makes a great Christmas present for someone!  The membership fee is waived, save $5 on all eight books, and save 50% on US shipping ($20).  Total savings of $60 over buying them individually (plus a free softcover chapbook).
